    Easiest way to light charcoal

    I’ve tried everything to start my charcoal. Lighter cubes are flaky and messy. I don’t like the flying embers from newspaper, plumber torches are bulky, and I can’t stand the smell of lighter fluid. This works well, especially when paired with the Blazeball.

    I love using the FOGO starters. Two of them fit conveniently in the Blazaball and always get the job done. I like the fact that they are all natural as well. I do wish that FOGO would leave bible verses off of the box tabs. Mixing business and religion is a slippery slope.

    These do a good job!

    In the past, I have generally used the wax cardboard variety from either Kamado Joe or Rutland, but these are easier and quicker to light! Also, they are fabulous for campfires!
