My go to! This is exceptionally high quality lump. I have tried several high end lump charcoal in my Kamado Joe, and this is hands down the best burning lump. There is little to no waste, as this is larger pieces that can be used as your next starter when grill is dampened after cooks. I feel the price from FOGO is the best bang for yiur buck, as shipping is usually free and fast. I highly recommend this product. As for flavor, this charcoal adds a great smoky flavor with, or without additional wood.

This really is the best charcoal. I pretty much exclusively use it in my BGE. The chunks are so big sometimes that I need to break them, that's pretty cool. Very little dust in the bag, I don't plan on changing anytime soon!

I've been a long time fan of Fogo lump charcoal (10 years) and have always received a high quality product. Until this last bag that is. The bag I recently received was more trash than quality charcoal. The 55lbs bag was mostly chips, splinters and included leaves, bag tops, grass, etc with less than half being the lump size charcoal I usually receive. I'm hoping this is a one off occurrence and not the new norm.- I gave 2 stars rather than 1 star based on the great product delivered in the past. I guess the next bag will tell the tale.
