Mouth Watering Grilled Pork Chops Every Time!

This week we’ll be sinking our teeth into perfectly seasoned dry rub pork chops. These pork chops are light on the wallet and very easy to grill. Follow our step by step directions and you’ll get the same delicious pork chops every time.

Ingredients

  • Fogo Super Premium Lump Charcoal
  • Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Directions

    Dry brine with salt for 2 hours by sprinkling with Kosher salt and placing on a tray with a cooling rack in the refrigerator.

    Dry Rub:

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper

    Apply dry rub to pork chops.

    Set up the grill for half direct and half indirect heat. Sear over direct heat until you get the right color on all sides of the chop, then move to the cooler side to finish cooking. Be sure to sear fat so it breaks down.

    They are finished when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.

    Second review of the Super Premium. I cannot emphasize enough how much this stands above the competition. I like and respect other premium brands like Jealous Devil but there is nothing out there like this product. I’ve converted 3 die-hard Big Green Egg charcoal buyers to this product and they agree it is better than anything they have ever used. NEVER buy a big box brand like Cowboy again...this is the best ever. Big chunks (that you sometimes have to break down to manageable size on your own!) and great natural, all-purpose smoky flavor.
