So, your Big Green Egg or Kamado grill has seen some good use but now the inside is covered in black buildup. This buildup can cause off putting smells and flavors when you cook in it, and nobody wants that. So, what can you do to clean it out? No, Windex is definitely not the answer here. The easiest way to get a full cleaning is with a hot fire burning for a couple of hours. It will eradicate all that nasty buildup of grease, fats, dirt, and other undesirable substances and make it look almost new again. If done correctly, the inside of the grill will turn white again and you will have clean burning fires resulting in better tasting food! Simply click the link to watch the full “how to” video. Follow our simple instructions and you will be incredibly pleased at the results!

Ron, thank you so much for this video! I have had a BGE for over 15 years and have NEVER done a Clean Burn! (actually, had never seen it described before :)). Wow, did I ever need it. In fact I did it twice just to get my BGE looking like yours ! AND, thank you for the helpful tips to remove my Smokeware thermometer and to order a new gasket (I did order the high-que Gold Standard gasket). My “new” egg inspired me to order it a Kick Ash can and basket and a new stainless steel grill grate!
I have had to hot burns.1000 degrees Lower egg appears white but upper dome still dark. Any help
How about doing a video on how to replace the gaskets on the BGE
I enjoyed your clean burn video and all the BGE instructional videos. You mentioned that you might have to replace the gasketing after the super hot burn. A good followup video could be how to replace the felt gasketing on the two halves of the BGE.
Great Videos,keep them coming.
